15 km start area

Blue zone - Zone Capacity Reached

For active runners who can complete 10km in under 50 minutes and intend to race against the clock These participants will have a blue race number and should assemble at the start line in Alexandra Avenue in the blue zone located immediately behind the start line. Note: there will be an area at the front of the Blue Zone for preferred start entrants and wheelchair athletes to assemble.

Yellow zone - Zone Capacity Reached

For semi-serious runners who intend to run the whole distance. These participants will have a yellow race number and should assemble in the yellow zone in Alexandra Avenue.

Orange zone - Zone Capacity Reached

For semi-active and casual runners and joggers who will try to run or jog the whole way These participants will have an orange race number and should assemble in the orange zone in Alexandra Avenue.

Red zone - Zone Capacity Reached

For entrants who want to participate for fun by themselves or in a group with children and who may walk some of the way. Long Course entrants with prams MUST enter in this zone. These participants will have a red race number and should assemble in the red zone located behind the orange zone in Alexandra Avenue.

If you are unable to complete 10km in between 75 minutes and two hours we strongly advise you to join in the fun and take on the 5.5km challenge. This will prevent any disappointment at failing to meet the Westgate Freeway cut-off time of 10:35am, approximately 6km into the course.
