What date is Run for the Kids 2010?

The Long course starts at 9am

The Short course starts at 8.45am

What are the entry fees?

The long course is $40 per person, with $23 going directly to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday appeal.

The short course is $35 per person, with $18 going directly to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday appeal.

T shirts $35 each with $10 going directly to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday appeal.

What is the race distance?

The Long course is 14.5km*

The Short course is 5.2km

*The long course is to be accurately re-measured by a certified course measurer in January and the distance may be modified

When do entries open?

Entries open at 9am on January 11, 2010

How do I enter?

Your can enter via two methods. Please note it is compulsory to pay when you enter. Your entry cannot be accepted or processed until full payment has been received.

Is there anywhere to apply in person?

Entries can be lodged in person at the Herald Sun Shop, Southbank, after entries open on January 11, 2010 T-shirts can also be purchased over the counter.

When do entries close?

The maximum number of entrants is 30,000. As soon as this number is reached, entries close, so register and pay as soon as possible to guarantee your entry.

Online entries close on February 25, 2010

Postal entries close on February 19, 2010.

How do I choose which colour zone to enter?

Choose the finish time and corresponding colour zone you will be able to complete the race comfortably. If you are running with a friend or family member who is slower paced, choose the colour zone corresponding to the slower time.

How do I buy a t-shirt?

You can either buy a t-shirt as part of the entry process.

Alternatively, you can buy one over the counter at the Herald Sun Shop, Southbank.

My plans have changed, and now I can’t participate. Can I get a refund?

Once your entry is accepted, your fee is not refundable.

Entries are not transferable to another person or to future Run for the Kids event.
